About me.
I am a spirits expert with experience as Whisky Blogger, Brand Ambassador and Brand Development Manager. Since 2014, I have organized and hosted whisky events, working with major wine & spirits companies in Germany, including Beam Suntory, Diageo, and Moët Hennessy, just to name a few. My freelance work led to an interim role as Brand Ambassador for Ardbeg, Glenmorangie, and Hennessy in 2018. From 2019 to 2024, I was the Brand Development Manager for Osborne, focusing on their premium brands in the GSA markets.

Join us for a whisky tasting journey where we will explore the finest whiskies and whiskeys from across the globe. We will taste and compare classic Scottish, Irish, and American bourbons with intriguing spirits from Asia and rest of Europe. Discover how whisky, carried by Irish and Scottish immigrants, has become a global phenomenon, now produced and enjoyed everywhere from Japan to even India. With ever-changing selections, this tasting highlights whisky’s rich diversity, blending familiar styles with exotic origins.

Gin is one of the oldest spirits and there is no bar on this planet without a huge selection of different expressions from around the world. Gin is maybe “the” mixing spirit and we will discover it together with a selection of complementary tonics while explaining the history and all information needed to go on exploring this famous cartegory.

Within the whisky category, we will look at the different styles and work out their differences and similarities. From production to taste, we will also look at the regional and sometimes historical differences and immerse ourselves in the world of whisky together.

The wine distillate Brandy has been the epitome of luxurious enjoyment all over the world for centuries. Noble, high-quality and sometimes perhaps a little elitist – this or something similar is often the image of brandy.
Rusty & dusty? No way!
We take a look at the differences between two great sub-categories, their taste, origin and production. This is rounded off with a brief excursion into the world of sherry. Sherry is essential for the Spanish Brandy de Jerez and is always a big topic in the world of whisky connoisseurs.
